It’s a great starter when you have a Chinese take away but it’s even better as a main course.
It’s light, filling, fast to make and carb free so great if you’re on a calorie controlled diet or just looking for something different.
You’ll have this made in 15 minutes and it serves a family of 4 or 2 with leftovers for lunch the next day.

1kg pork mince (I like a combination of pork and turkey mince)
1tbs sesame oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
50ml soy sauce
1 large carrots, small diced pieces
1tbs minced garlic and ginger, or finely grated
salt and pepper
4 spring onions, sliced
gently fry the onions in the sesame oil for 10 minutes until soft • add the garlic and ginger and fry for a further 5 minutes • crumble the mince in and fry until brown • stir in the soy sauce • season with salt and pepper •summer for a couple of minutes • remove from the heat and stir in the carrots • in each leaf • pile on the mince • pour a drizzle of oyster sauce • sprinkle the sesame seeds • top with spring onions • enjoy your finger food
