Teriyaki Salmon

Another favourite meal while I was in Japan was teriyaki salmon. You can literally have any meat, fish or vegetables with this teriyaki sauce. Not only does it have add an amazing flavour to meat or fish but makes rice a bit more interesting if you’re not a huge fan.
There’s just 3 ingredients and it takes about 10 minutes. My the time your rice is cooked this will be finished.
teriyaki salmon
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup mirin
2 tbs sugar
2 salmon fillets
add the soy, mirin and sugar to a frying pan and a bring to the boil • then turn it down to a simmer • add the salmon skin side down • turn the salmon over after 4 minutes • after 4 minutes turn the salmon again • baste the salmon to give the top a nice coating of the sauce • place on top of some Japanese rice • pour over some of the sauce
